One common problem we see in the kitchen remodeling business is outdated cabinetry. In Wichita, we typically see golden oak cabinetry. The problem is the cabinets are typically in great shape, but the homeowner just doesn’t like the color! And since the cabinetry in a kitchen is the most prominent feature, it leaves the homeowner in a conundrum: “How can I update my kitchen without having to replace ALL the cabinetry?”
This kitchen that we recently finished had the same problem: They really wanted to update the kitchen, but didn’t want to go through the expense of replacing all the cabinetry. This kind of project is what we call a “kitchen refresh,” which includes the following:
- Paint the Cabinetry
- Replace the Flooring
- Paint Walls and Trim
- New Cabinetry Hardware
- New Sink and Faucet
- New Backsplash
As you can see in the photos below, this kitchen was a little outdated.
The following picture shows a great new look while keeping the same cabinetry. We even added a drawer with an electrical outlet for phone and tablet charging.
Review from the homeowner:
“Pinnacle was excellent to work with throughout the entire process. Very trustworthy, reliable and detailed.”
