We recently remodeled a bathroom at the Water Walk condos in downtown Wichita. Our client had an old tub they wanted to convert to a shower, but the problem was that this condo is located on the 4th floor, and we needed to move plumbing drains for the new shower. That meant we had to coordinate with the neighbor below them to work from the neighbor’s ceiling. It was a challenging job, but the project turned out beautifully.
We had a custom Onyx base made to fit exactly into the opening. We built a custom bench in the back of the shower. Our client selected a plumbing tower with water jets.
We waterproofed the shower using Schluter water proofing system. We installed a niche for shampoo and shower accessories using Schluter systems. Listen to Jake explain how these work!
We completed the shower with a heavy duty shower glass door that was custom made for the opening.
Using the same tile as the shower, we installed tile around the entire bathroom and water closet. This finished the room nicely by tying it all together. We installed an accent tile for the sink backsplash and surrounding walls.
This bathroom had an existing fiberglass shower that our clients did not need anymore because of the new shower we put in. We removed the shower and custom built a linen closet in its place. The new cabinet was built to match the vanities.
In addition to the master bath, our client needed some more light in their master bedroom so we custom built a lightbox to match the existing woodwork throughout the home. We installed new LED lighting.
All these updates gave our clients a larger, updated, beautiful master suite!
